Discover the fascinating story of Sleights born Edward Simpson, “Flint Jack”, geologist and forger of antiquities as Sean Lynch of the Henry Moore Foundation tells his story.

This is the first in the autumn season of Lit & Phil lectures. Other dates to look out for are:

Wednesday 23rd October, 2.15pm “The Ghost Signs of Whitby” with Peter Craggs &

Wednesday 27th November, 2.15pm “The man who walked naked to Kabul and other characters from Rev Scoresby’s autograph book” with Fiona Barnard (Museum Scoresby curator).

All lectures are free to Lit & Phil members, non-members are most welcome, suggested donation £2.00.
