An exciting opportunity to catch Dr Rebecca Bennion talking about the science of sea monsters. With Whitby Museum’s fabulous collection of prehistoric marine reptiles as a starting point and covering icthyosaurs, whales focusing on  top marine predators this promises to be a fascinating talk from local Whitby paleontologist, Dr Bennion. Talk starts at 2pm, no booking required – tickets available on the day from whitby museum reception desk. Tickets are £2 for non-members and free to members of Whitby Literary and Philosophical Society.
