Whitby Museum will be welcoming authors Kate Griffin and Essie Fox to our library for this unique writing workshop. Be inspired by the Gothic items in our collection and gain tips and insights from these experienced authors. This event includes a cream tea. Saturday 27th April 2024 at 1pm-3:30pm. Tickets £10 for members of Whitby Literary and Philosophical Society, £12.50 for non-members – tickets are strictly limited and booking is essential.
Essie Fox—Author of: The Last Days of Leda Grey, The Times Historical Book of the Month; Sunday Times Bestseller The Fascination ; and shortlisted for the National Book Awards for The Somnambulist.
Kate Griffin— Winner of the Stylist/Faber Crime Writing award for Kitty Peck and the Music Hall Murders . Other titles include Fyneshade – a dark slice of ‘Governess Gothic’. Kate is also co-author of the upcoming The Blackbirds of St Giles.
