Whitby Museum is re-opening on Tuesday 7th February at 10am. Our two new exhibitions are ready ‘200 Years of Collecting’ celebrating changes in the museum collection over the years, and ‘200 years of Fashion’ shows how what we wear has changed since the inception of the museum 200 years ago this year. The library has curated a fabulous display of wonderful pieces from the archive detailing changes in Whitby over the the past two centuries. Over the winter closure case lighting has been upgraded and many displays have been spruced up. The museum tea room will also be re-opening on the 7th of February with a wonderful selection of cakes, drinks and light bites.
