The opening of our new exhibition “Whitby and the Cosmos: The Search for Dark Matter” was preceded by a fascinating talk on the subject by Professor Henrique Araujo.
Professor Araujo is professor of physics at Imperial College, London and organised the donation of ZEPLIN III to the museum. He is one of the world’s leading experts in dark matter and leads the UK team developing the next generation of LUX-Zeplin experiments, as well as developing radiation detection instruments for spacecraft.
The exhibition is now open and runs until 20th July.
