Winter Closure and Museum Shop Offer

Whitby Museum will be closing for winter the last day of opening will be Sunday 3rd of December. A huge thank you to all our visitors, members, volunteers and staff for helping to make our bicentenary year a big success. The museum will re-open to visitors on Tuesday 6th of February at 10am, we look forward to welcoming everyone with some fresh new exhibitions and all the old favourites too. Why not support Whitby Museum whist doing your festive shopping this year? There are gifts for all ages, Hand of Glory replica keyrings, candles, plenty of local interest books including the fabulous Whitby Timeline of all the dates and events you need to know for Whitby. We also have a selection of FM Sutcliffe prints available in a range of sizes. You do not need to pay entry to the museum to visit the shop.

The museum tea room is currently closed on weekends with last day of service in the tea room on Friday 1st December. Hannah and the team will be back on Tuesday 6th of February with more of their delicious home baked cakes and treats and light bites.
