A talk about book repair techniques using images of work done for Whitby Museum by York Bookbinders as examples amongst others with Mike Springall of York Bookbinders.
A great chance to find out how we care for some of our rare and delicate books from the people who have undertaken work on some of our books. Find out more about this important skill from the experts in this talk.
Tickets are free to members of Whitby Lit & Phil, £5 to non-members. Tickets can be booked in person at museum reception during opening hours or online (small online booking fee applies to all tickets). Ticket price includes a free cup of tea or coffee. Please arrive at 1:45 for a 2pm start.
Online Tickets go off sale the evening before the event – any remaining tickets are sold at the museum on the day of the talk.
