What’s on

At Whitby Museum we have a dedicated special exhibition room with a programme of exhibitions designed to complement and enhance our main gallery. Special exhibitions usually run for a full year.

Our Costume Gallery also has annually changing exhibitions highlighting differing areas of our costume and textile collection.

Throughout the year we stage events and talks tying to our collection. Regularly visit this page or our social media channels for the latest updates.

Pannett Park

Whitby Museum is lucky to be situated in the wonderful surroundings of Pannett Park. Take in the beautiful landscaped gardens and let the children play on the excellent playpark right alongside us.

Pannett Art Gallery

We share our building with Pannett Art Gallery, where you can find permanent exhibitions of the work of the Weatherill family, who were local artists and a room dedicated to the Staithes group of artists alongside regularly changing exhibitions.
