Curious Kids Chess Tournament

A chess tournament for curious kids aged 18 and under.

Children must know how to play chess to take part. Children will play against an opponent for a maximum of 15 minutes, if the game remains unfinished after 15 minutes a winner is decided using a points system. This is a fun event with all abilities welcome to come along and play. There may be some waiting around between games, children are welcome to watch other games but must not interfere or advise other players, or look around the museum once their part in the tournament is over. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, normal admission applies (payable on the day).

Please arrive promptly for an 11am start players arriving after 11am may not be admitted to the competition.
