Children’s University

We are delighted to have been accepted as a verified learning destination for the Children’s University.

Children’s University is a national charitable initiative encouraging children to engage in activities outside the classroom. The children are issued with a passport which they get stamped when they visit a learning destination or carry out certain activities and are awarded “learning hours”. At the end of the year if they have achieved the designated number of learning hours they are included in a graduation ceremony. The Scarborough branch of Children’s University is run via the University of Hull.

Whitby Museum now joins Pannett Art Gallery as a verified destination. Pay us a visit, there’s so much to see from wonderful paintings in the Art Gallery to enormous fossils, model ships, jet carvings, toys and even a creepy Hand of Glory!
