Take a look at our ceramics display and you will find an exquisite nativity scene which was once on display at Whitby Hospital’s maternity ward. When the ward closed the figures were kindly donated to the Museum. Alongside the statues are pictures of Christmas babies born at Whitby Hospital, taken from the Whitby Gazette.
Clarence is also dressed in his Christmas outfit and we have a special Christmas quiz trail to complete. Pay us a visit this December, but remember we close at 4.30pm on Sunday 15th December until 1st February, so don’t delay.
