Join curator of the Hand of Glory, Pat McCarthy, on this special Goth Weekend Sunday afternoon and hear about the latest research into this curious and macabre item! Ever wondered how such a thing is made – or even what it is for? This is the event to help you find out!
As our social history curator, Pat is also takes care of many of our other ghoulish items, such as the hangman’s pendant and curious flea traps alongside our leech assisted weather forecasting Tempest Prognosticator!
Drop in on Sunday 2nd November 1-3pm and Pat will be ‘on hand’ to tell you all about it in the main gallery. Normal admission applies. All are welcome to the session, Pat will be found in the gallery near to the hand of glory, just listen in and feel free to ask questions.
